Here it is https://youtu.be/d4Lqu0f-alc ! Number 7, my most favorite and luckiest of numbers!
Thank you, Sweet Tiffany B., for your song request! “Keep Yourself Alive” was quite the challenge, but I embraced and cherished the learning process…with only a few moments of frowny frowns and heavy, heavy sighs. Always eat, take a nap and pet your dog (not necessarily in that order) BEFORE your practice your instrument, start your homework and/or check your Inbox! A calm Center will MAKE the journey. Totally.
Here are the previous 6 Groove Room Sessions: (1) “Imagine” by John Lennon https://youtu.be/IOSUEQGjmYI; (2) “Eight Days A Week” by The Beatles https://youtu.be/6quvTNIuhUo; (3) “Rockin’ In The Free World” https://youtu.be/MF463LO1IgM; (4) “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley https://youtu.be/HQoe-kqYALs; (5) “Kind and Generous” by Natalie Merchant https://youtu.be/LZaqZnygv20; (6) “It’s The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)” https://youtu.be/S8VYFXkNsZE
What’s the Groove Room Series? The Groove Room is my “safe place,” a nook with groovy mood lighting to enhance my musical practice experience. I decided to turn my practice sessions into a “Series” to share with a viewing audience as a means to A. hopefully inspire others to sing, dance and play a musical instrument; B. brighten someone’s day with a song and C. hold myself accountable to others. A, B and C push me to continue to strumming my beloved Pineapple, my ukuluke (pronounced ooo-koo-loo-kee).
